Blow and Go is yet another As Seen on TV hair product. There's so many of them these days it's hard to keep track! If you hate contorting yourself into a pretzel every time you style your hair, this hair dryer stand might be for you. It's basically helps you cut down time on drying and styling your hair since you can do both in one step. Here are the pros and cons to help you decide if it's right for you.
You can see and style the hair at the back of your head. I can tell you from using the Blow and Go that it's really nice to not have tired arms. During my morning beauty regiment which normally takes me at least 45 minutes the hair stand saved me about 20 min doing my hair. I've got super curly hair so I like straighten it by positioning the facing blow dryer straight down. If you need more body just use a round brush.
Advantages
- Holds almost all blow dryers.
- It stays very secure on a mirror. When you want to remove it, it comes off easily.
- The neck is strong and yet adjusts easily to the angle you need.
- Attaches to flat surfaces but its better to attach it to glass or a mirror, metal or non-textured tile.
- Flexible, light weight and portable so you can fold it up and take it with you.
- You can move it to wherever you feel comfortable styling your hair; either your bedroom, bathroom or gym.
- No more tired arms.
- Made of sturdy materials.
- Cuts down blow dry and styling time by half since you can do these simultaneously.
- It doesn't change position from the weight of a hair dryer.
Disadvantages
- Does not stick to a dry wall.
- If you have a smaller bathroom, it does take up a lot of space even if it's placed on a bathroom mirror.
A Couple of Tips
- Before attaching the suction to the surface, make sure it's clean.
- You can make it hold super tight by running a little bit of water around the rubber edges. It holds quite well even without even doing this.
